RIGHT WAY ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES SIGNING OF 2010 INTERNATIONAL BLUES CHALLENGE WINNER GRADY CHAMPION TO PIEDMONT TALENT FOR BOOKING
(MEMPHIS, TN) – With his works and performances celebrating three 2012 BMA nominations and the 2011 Blues Critic Award for Best Down Home Blues Song for “Make That Monkey Jump”, Grady Champion is an electrifying blues singer and harmonica virtuoso. He has been compared to Sonny Boy Williamson, Howlin’ Wolf, Lionel Ritchie, and Smokie Robinson, and right now you can hear him everywhere. He’s just released his new album “Bootleg Whiskey,” and it’s making a lot of noise across America, Europe, China, and Japan.
Along with his new album, Grady and Right Way Entertainment are happy to announce his signing to Piedmont Talent for exclusive booking.
Piedmont has been in business since 1989 and is one of the premier booking agencies.
The 2010 International Blues Challenge winner is accompanied by one of the best young blues bands in America. Grady and the band have had the pleasure of playing on the Legendary Blues Cruise, the Portland Waterfront Blues Festival, and in the Chicago Blues Festival 3 times, and now, Piedmont is going to help him travel to more locations, spreading his powerful, soulful, and raspy voice.
This Mississippi-based blues musician has been captivating audiences for the better part of two decades, and that hard work paired with a number of musical talents under his belt have prepared him to carry the torch for the authentic Mississippi blues.
